Holidays

Less than a century ago, holidays were still a real luxury. People commonly went on day trips to the seaside through work, and children could join trips organised by their local Working Men's Club. Foreign holidays only really became affordable from the 1950s. People often have fond memories of their holidays. You'll see this through the images in this section.
